The New Body Art

Nowadays, the new body art is the big trend, especially in famous people's life, so lots of celebrities are having painted an illusion on to their skins by skin illustrators. I like this new body art because unlike tattooing, paint is temporary, so people can change their illusions after two weeks, and also they can ildulge their apperance without any regret. Therefore, a lot of women are having the body paint done for special parties. They can painted it anywhere they want on their skin; for example, their neck or chest so it looks like they are wearing a necklace or on their fit so it looks like they are wearing a very nice shoes or boots. Another point is that body art affects the film and the music industry. To illustrate, the music industry is using it for video shoots and album covers. Moreover, artist and skin illustrator Emma Hack has just made a short body art film for Estee Lau der. She says the process of body painting can take eight to 15 hours and requires extraordinary eye and hand co-ordination. Once the desing is complete, she photographs it. Her images of naked models merging into vintage wallpapers are arresting, unexpected and very beautiful. I chose this topic because the new body art is so popular and it takes nearly everyones attention especially celebrities. I most like the boots which painted on fit as it is very beautiful, and I think every girl will like it also. In addition, I would like to see a body art excibitions if I have chanse. How about you would you want to see them, I think it will worse to seeing them.

Bad teacher

Our aim is to be a perfect teacher not a bad teacher.

I chose this film because I like the film so much and it releates to our future job. When we become a teacher we should do our best not just like the teacher in the film. The main character of this film does not like being a teacher but she had to do it for her living, so she using her job for only living and finding a rich man. In the beginning she did not do anything in the class but showed films to students. However, when she heared that in the final exam there has a big money gift to teacher whos students do the best. Then she decided to win that money and started to teaching the students, but there was so little time that she could not teach all thing that students must know. Then she decided to get the answer shits of the exam paper. She could do it and her students were successfull and she got the money. Moreover, there were other teacher who loved t studentsheir job and they did their best to teaching students. In the end of the film she understood that she was wrong and she released that the money and rich husband are not so important things in life. I think we should learn lots of things in this film because we will be teacher one day. We should do our job by heart and pay attention to our students about their life and studing, and of course help them choose the right way in their life. İf we do our job by heart and give importance to students and other people we can be the perfect teacher. I agree with the car washing activity in the film because it is good thing doing activity with the students if the money is given to the schoool. I think that perfect teachers are significant to society because children take their initial knowledge of everything from their teachers.   LET IS BE THE PERFECT TEACHER!!!

Nowadays, one can see commercials or advertisements in everywhere because it is so common thing so I think this topic is worth to talk. I believe that there is not one person who does not interested in commercials. Advertising is a form of communication used to encourage or persuade an audience (vievers, readers or listeners) to continue or take some new action. The purpose of advertising may also be to reassure employees or shareholders that a company is viable or successful. Advertising messages are usually viewed via various traditional media; including newspaper, magazine, TV, radio or new media such as websites and text messages.   TV has relied on revenue from commercials since the 1940s. As the importance of TV ads has grown, the commercials themselves have become more sophisticated and aimed at target audiences. The TV commercial is generally considered the most effective mass-marked advertising format, as is reflected by the high prices TV networks charged for commercial airtime during TV events. For example, the National Institute on Media and the Family says that during the average year, an American child views about 40.000 commercials. The Internet already has a profound effect on the world. It iis changing commerce, research, entertainment and information gathering-influencing the way people go about their dialy business.Online advertising is a form of promotion that uses the Internet and World Wide Web for the expressed purpose of delivering marketing messages to attract customers. Online ads are delivered by an ad server. Examples of online advertising include contextual ads that appear on search engine results pages, banner ads, in text ads, social network, online classified advertising, advertising networks and e-mail marketing, including e-mail spam. In short, todays  commercials are so important as every company use them and they can persuade people easily by advertising.

Education

Education is always so important for human life, because people cannot live without any education at least they cannot live in a peace. Nowadays, people give more attention to education in several ways. For example, they build kindergardens, schools, universities, and lots of cources like language, cooking and etc. When one place's education is good there most things are high position. To illustrate, developed countries' financial and economic conditions are so good because of, high education. Japan, the USA and some other developed countries give so much attention to education to children; as a result, they get high condition of their life. As I am student too I know how education is necessary for humankind, without education a person cannot be a proper person. I like educate people no matter if they are small children or university student because teaching someone about something and to be teached by someone is meaning of life I think. When I first came to METU I make sure that education is valid and I am in the right place. Parents should give more attention to their children's pro per and sufficient education to make sure can their children live in a good life without too muhc difficulty. Also, people shuold study hard and do their best if they want to live the best life. Studying or learning is sometimes hard I know but without studying or learning people cannot do anything. One small example is if I did not learn English or Turkish I cannot make a foreign friends or talk to with them. In addition, government officials should give attention to educate people. For example, our previous president always said that everyone should know three languages such as, Turkmen, Russian, and English, so every schools and universities give two foreign lanuage lessons. To sum up, having better life and development of country are result of better education. Everyone should give attention to proper education for himself or herself and for others.

My video reflection

1. They all think that studing in the USA is so beneficial. For example, Krishna said that American education system is based on team work and creativity which she prefer so much.
2. Linxi Du decide to go to the USA for education because American schools have more opportunities to practise.
3. Students said that there are lots of differences between the USA and their own countries. For instance, Krishna inferm that studing in the USA is more flexiable than her own country. For Arata American people are so sociable and outgoing. Also he said that in the USA classes are small so it is easy to communicate.
4. Krishna said awarage of student fee is 30.000$ which included boarding, room and other fees but she said I experienced so much which is priceless.Arata it depends on student which major he take, which university and where he go.
5. Of course they had some difficulties like communicating with people and adaptating to university. However, Arata did not live such difficulties the help of his international high schools.
6. Yes, they experienced culture shock, for Krishna it is a natural thing and she is happy to coming America because she has new goals. Linxi was shocked when she saw some people who wear short in the winter. Driving car is easy than China because there are not so crowded said Linxi. Yes, of course I also lived culture shock as I am foreign student in here. I am thinking of going to the USA for practicing my English, there will be difficulties of missing and culture but it will be so beneficial my speaking skill in English.

BEING A STUDENT AT METU.
My brother always said to me "Being a student at university is the best thing in human's life". Yes, he was right now I can see it because being at a university student especially in METU is an unbeliable thing. Student life is so exiting and challanging that I can go anywhere I want to and see different places and also meet different people. However, there difficulties of adaptating in university life. For example, I miss my parents, brothers and friends who are far away from me. In addition, I have to study hard than I did my higt school and share room with a person which I never see. When I came here I cannot eat some meals but fortuneteli I get used to them. The most difficult thing was adaptating to culture.In spite of this, I like so much student life and METU. METU is a beautiful and student can find everything in here. The most important thing is student can get the best knowladge in here. That is why I chose METU and I will never regret because I know METU is the perfect place or university. Also I know METU will fulfill my ezpectation because I find here what I had searched. In short, being a student at METU mean to me being myself. I LOVE MY UNIVERSITY.
